Peacock Wedding Shoot at the Q Center in St. Charles, IL
Teal, eggplant, Kelly green, gold and royal blue—the hues of a peacock feather—come together to create a bright and bold color palette for this styled shoot. The peacock itself is found in the details, such as the invitation and cake. The throne chairs and mandap (a covered structure where the main wedding ceremony takes place) is simple and traditional in the colors of gold and white. The reception decor, on the other hand, includes an array of colors with bursts of gold in the chargers, silverware, glassware, napkin rings, table number and Chiavari chairs. The horse for the baraat (the groom’s wedding procession before the ceremony) includes gold and pops of color as well.

From the planner:
With an emphasis on bright colors, this shoot evoked a lively, rustic and romantic feel that stepped out of the classic wedding décor for South Asian weddings. Contemporary over common!
