Local Love – Jordan & Clarence at DiNolfo’s Banquets
Jordan and Clarence met and dated in high school before going their separate ways after graduating. They reconnected once they had graduated from college and rekindled their romance. They knew it was meant to be thanks to their unshakable connection, their commitment to working on their relationship, and the abundance of laughter they shared.
When the time came to plan their wedding, Jordan and Clarence knew they wanted to keep their wedding day traditional and fun. They chose to get married at Jordan’s family church, where her parents and several family members had also been married, and didn’t see each other until Jordan walked down the aisle. They honored a cousin who had passed away at a young age by using the same ring bearer pillow he had used in a wedding as a small child. It was important to Jordan and Clarence to make sure everyone knew how much the couple appreciated their support on their Big Day.
The wedding décor evoked an ethereal enchanted garden vibe, with a color palette of champagne, cream, blush pink, and sage. The bouquets, centerpieces, and flower girls’ headpieces were perfection, including roses, spray roses, hydrangeas, stephanotis, baby’s breath, eucalyptus and various other greenery. The groom, groomsmen and ring bearer all wore black tuxedos to keep things crisp and classic. In the midst of the gorgeous flowers and elegantly decorated reception, the dance floor was rocking all night. Jordan works at a dance studio where she and her coworkers have a traditional dance they all do to “Just Like a Prayer” by Madonna at each other’s weddings. All the guests surround the bride while dancing, then lift the bride up in the air and have her crowd surf. “It is quite entertaining, and usually a majority of the guests get involved. It was finally my moment, and it was so much fun!” Jordan shared. The couple agrees— dancing was their favorite part of their Big Day! They both really wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and they loved that the dance floor was packed with guests having a blast.
