Local Love – Adrianna & Dean at Salvatore’s Ristorante
Adrianna and Dean knew they were a perfect match from their first date. After meeting for drinks at The Dawson, they ended up making it a night to remember with a romantic dinner in the courtyard. “We were inseparable from the very beginning because we knew off the bat we were a good fit,” Adrianna shared. The pair even return to The Dawson each year on their dating anniversary to commemorate their fabulous first date.
When it was time to plan their wedding, Adrianna and Dean knew they wanted to get married in Chicago as they both have family ties to the city. They wanted a vintage, romantic feeling for their Big Day, which they found at Salvatore’s Ristorante in Lincoln Park. They chose to get married in February as they appreciated the romance surrounding Valentine’s Day and the winter weather would pair perfectly with Adrianna’s long-sleeved lace wedding dress.
The couple began their wedding day with a ceremony at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Several generations of Dean’s family attended the church, were married or attended school there. “The church was absolutely stunning and it was a true honor to begin our marriage at a church that had so much history and meaning not only with our family, but with Chicago as well,” Adrianna shared. Dean’s favorite moment of their Big Day was when he saw Adrianna come down the aisle for the first time. “Watching that moment happen, knowing this was the first time I would be able to call my partner my wife was incredible,” Dean said. One of Adrianna’s favorite moments happened during their wedding ceremony as well. As they stood together at the altar, each time they made eye contact they shared a giggle as they simply couldn’t contain their joy.
Adrianna and Dean joined their guests for a fabulous celebration at Salvatore’s Ristorante. The reception had an elegant, “Old Chicago” vibe that was reflected throughout the décor. The carved crown moulding, black and white floor and grand marble staircase of their venue were the perfect backdrop. The couple brought in deep red roses, red peonies and plenty of greenery to accent the gorgeous candelabras featured on each table. Guests were treated to an absolutely delicious dinner and plenty of sweet treats, so they had lots of energy for the dance floor. The entire night felt like a dream and the happy newlyweds felt truly honored to share their Big Day with their loved ones.
