“Lauren & Nate’s romantic destination wedding took place at the White Room in St. Augustine. Their romantic palette consisted of dusty blue bridesmaids dresses with blush pink and greenery florals and ivory and gold details that really popped against the exposed brick inside the White Room! The bride and groom live in Naples, Florida but they were drawn to the historic and elegant vibe of The Oldest City. They used to take road trips in college to St. Augustine and always enjoyed walking around the historic streets so we found a super cute private alleyway for their first look spot and we wandered around the historic Spanish district taking gorgeous portraits against colorful buildings before we were joined by their bridal party & families!
“They love being by the water too – so the White Room was perfect with its history (built in the 1800’s) and its proximity to the harbor! The ceremony was on the rooftop where guests had a great view of the water and even the lighthouse off in the distance! One of their groomsmen officiated the wedding for a more personal & intimate touch to the ceremony. After the vows were said and the rings were exchanged, we headed down to the harbor for some ‘Just Married’ photos before watching Lauren & Nate’s fun choreographed first dance (that her sister helped them create!).” -Catherine Capo of Catherine Ann Photography
