When Sonali, the owner of FINO Tequila, met Sunny, the proprietor of a local liquor store, a perfectly crafted cocktail was in the making. Their shared passion for the spirits business sparked a connection, but they soon realized it extended beyond professional collaboration.
Their love story culminated in a week-long extravaganza of wedding festivities, with each event designed to reflect the chapters of their love story and create unforgettable moments for their guests. On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, the celebrations began with a vibrant Haldi event at Winnetka House, followed by a lively Mehndi celebration at Rockwell on the River on Wednesday and a spirited Sangeet at RPM on the Water on Thursday.
On Friday, the couple sealed their union in a beachfront ceremony at the picturesque Theater on the Lake. The outdoor Indian ceremony, set against the city skyline backdrop, was a vision in pastel shades of pink and purple. Indoors, the venue was transformed into a romantic springtime wonderland adorned with lush blooms and flickering candles, setting the stage for an unforgettable reception.
Finally, the celebrations reached their crescendo on Saturday with a formal reception at The Geraghty. Here, vibrant elegance took center stage as fuchsia and gold accents exuded opulence and charm. One reception highlight was the tequila shot station, featuring Sonali’s own tequila brand. The stylish display also served as a photo booth, inviting guests to take a shot and capture the moment in style.
As they raise their glasses to a lifetime of happiness, Sonali and Sunny’s wedding celebration shows that sometimes you can mix business with pleasure.
