Haley & Josh
How They Met
“I started with a large general contracting construction company in Chicago and was involved in hiring Josh. After getting to know each other and becoming friends, it wasn’t long until we started dating. We kept our relationship a secret for nine months until we shocked people when we became engaged shortly afterwards.”
How Haley Knew She Had Found the One
“I knew there was something special and the connection was clear after the very first date. Our opposite personalities attract and we share so many of the same beliefs and values.”
Darling Details
“Our wedding included so many personal touches. I wore a borrowed gold bracelet from my mother and our maid of honor created our stationery. We also had handmade rustic wooden signs, and I got to design our table numbers with Josh. We even used the same unity candle that my parents lit at their own wedding!”
Tip for Engaged Couples
“Don’t write off suggestions made by your parents during the process – they bring a fresh perspective. But remember, it’s still your day and you won’t be able to please everyone.”
