Dina & Joseph’s Jewish Miami Wedding
New York City couple, Dina and Joseph, had a beautiful Winter Wedding, but since this is Miami, the weather was nothing short of spectacular! They got ready at the Turnberry Resort and had their first look on the perfectly manicured lawns and golf course with palm trees all around them. Then family portraits including an entourage of adorable flower girls and ring bearers and ushers. The traditional Jewish ceremony was then followed by the Tish and the Bedeken, where the groom veiled his bride surrounded by his family and friends wishing them well and accompanied by an assorted Yiddish Band with violins, singers, and a brass section. Then on to the traditional Wedding in the Temple. The chuppah is one of the most flowered ones we have ever seen! Hundreds, probably thousands of multi-colored flowers lined the aisles and canopy. The reception was at the Temple as well and the decor was very beautiful. It consisted of very clean and simple crystal and gold elements like candelabra, dishes, and both short and elevated centerpieces. There were also lots of white and colorful flowers, and the walls had bright pink, purple, and blue lighting. All very tastefully done; it was a collaboration between a local Florida planner and a New York event designer. Guests took their simple white place cards from columns in front of their flower wall which featured a custom neon sign with the names of bride & groom; this also provided an elegant backdrop for photos! The bridal party and kids welcomed the newly married couple into the party under a bridge of flowers. Straight into the VERY animated hora dances where the men danced separately from the woman and then joining as they lifted the couple in chairs! The catering was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their dinner and the toasts from siblings and parents. After this the bride and groom graced the dance floor with their romantic first dance and then lots of dancing until the end of the night! This was a luxurious and classy Miami wedding full of great vendors that we are very grateful to have been a part of!
