Courtney & Juliana’s Intimate, Dinner Party Wedding
In an atmosphere resembling an exclusive dinner party, Courtney and Juliana celebrated their intimate wedding alongside 60 cherished guests.
Both originally from the East Coast, Courtney and Juliana only recently moved to Chicago. Hosting the wedding in their new city felt like the perfect way to kick- start this new chapter together. As they settled into their new home, they were delighted to gather their nearest and dearest to celebrate.
Besides celebrating their love, the couple wanted to express gratitude to those who supported them along the way. With this, finding the perfect venue was key — one that exuded intimacy but was spacious enough for both the ceremony and reception. In their venue search, Tied House in Lakeview immediately stole their hearts with its well-crafted menu, welcoming staff and a patina-finish fireplace that emanated charm.
The evening unfolded gracefully, transitioning from a heartfelt ceremony outdoors to Tied House’s cozy bar area, where guests mingled over cocktails. Before returning to the main floor, everyone enjoyed a sumptuous dinner on the venue’s second floor. Courtney and Juliana wanted their loved ones to connect and savor each other’s company, so they stirred up the seating arrangements, sparking new conversations and creating beautiful memories. By the time guests returned to the main floor for dancing, it was like everyone was old friends.
From a heartfelt ceremony officiated by their brother-in-law to personalized vows with a guitar serenade, every moment added up to a perfect day. Surrounded by loved ones from various stages of their lives, this wedding is a testament to the strength and beauty of shared experiences and treasured connections.
