Catherine & Russell’s Whimsy Chicago Winery Wedding
Spanning from Chicago’s picturesque North Shore to Chicago Winery in the heart of the city, Catherine and Russell’s wedding was a perfect blend of modern color and classic elegance. Their August celebration captured the essence of a dreamy Chicago wedding, with golden sunshine, vibrant florals, and unforgettable moments.
The couple exchanged vows at Loyola University Chicago’s Madonna Della Strada Chapel, honoring Russell’s alma mater. Before heading to their reception, the couple took advantage of the beautiful day and took portraits in Lincoln Park. Complete with the city skyline as the backdrop and an appearance from their beloved dog, Delilah, their portraits were as good as it gets!
The celebration continued at Chicago Winery in River North. Here, guests enjoyed an Aperol Spritz cocktail hour, delicious cuisine, and an atmosphere filled with whimsy. Saville Flowers transformed the reception space with a pink and blue floral installation that floated above the room as everyone celebrated.
Catherine and Russell put a unique and sentimental twist on the traditional guest book by inviting their guests to sign wine bottles from Chicago Winery, creating a collection of sweet messages to be uncorked on future anniversaries.
The dance floor came alive as soon as the Bluewater Kings Band started playing. With a crowd ready to celebrate, the night was filled with the kind of joy that makes an unforgettable wedding.
