Burgundy Winter Wedding at the Chicago Marriott Naperville
After a summer full of blush pinks and pastel blues, the team at Sarah Kathleen Events, alongside our talented group of vendors who produced this styled shoot, aimed to set a more dramatic scene. Deep, rich burgundy colors evoke such elegance, which is why this luscious burgundy palette was used as the inspiration for a winter styled shoot for the Chicago Marriott Naperville.
Wanting to create a polished, yet slightly wild look, luxe colors and styles were mixed in an unexpected way. Rough wooden elements played alongside the soft fabrics and velvety flowers. An exposed farm table set the stage for delicate, gold trimmed place settings with sleek black flatware and water goblets. Chameleon chairs in black and gold dress up the rustic farm table with their velvet covers and ombre’ color changing effect. Garlands of greenery and burgundy blooms graced the table while the bridal bouquets overflowed with dramatic blossoms. Golden candelabras topped with cascading flowers added the luxurious ambiance of twinkling candles and helped to tie all of the different elements together. A romantic backdrop of ivory and burgundy drapes frames the entire scene while the sophisticated burgundy stationary with black and gold accents were the perfect finishing touches to this chic wedding day design.
Not to be outshone by the decor, our wedding couples fit perfectly into this winter wedding dream. The brides were dressed in uniquely colored gowns, offering just a touch of color in two very different silhouettes. The gentlemen also played with unique colors, as their jackets were a deep navy, complementing the burgundy inspiration color used throughout the shoot. Boutonnieres were designed to pair with their bride’s bouquets and antique pieces mixed with sleek black feathers accessorized our happy couples.
Our crew of vendors outdid themselves with this shoot and we want to thank them for their phenomenal work. Being Joy Photography captured the incredible photos while Satin Chair, AFR Furniture Rental, Marquee Event Rentals, Floral Events, and Kelly Reif Stationary Studio provided the decor, florals, and stationary. Our hair and makeup was styled by Breeauna Bruce: Hair and Makeup Extraordinaire and the gowns and tuxes were provided by the Bridal Boutique of Naperville and The Black Tux.
