Vintage English Abbey Wedding Inspiration at Dole Mansion

Creating this styled shoot was a simple thought of traveling back in time to the early 1900’s and the luxury of the Dole Mansion.  Featuring romantic Italianate style craftsmanship throughout the magnificent mansion, one can only dream of all the secrets this beautiful backdrop has acquired over the last 158 years. The team wanted to capture a bit of history, with a touch of a Downton Abbey flair, in this modern take on old-world regal enchantments.

Downton Abbey-inspired chic style was evident in the beautifully detailed, vintage bridal gown with a traditional, high neckline, delicate lace, deep-V back and gorgeous train. The model’s hair was swept back in a beautiful semi-updo and topped with a vintage silver-and-diamond-encrusted hairpiece. Her makeup kept with the early 1900’s style and accentuated her features. Vintage jewelry captured the essence of the day and sparkled beautifully. Lovely, whimsical floral bouquets and over-the-top, lush urns added to the upscale extravagance of the shoot. Hand-created flowers adorned the impressive five-tier cake with exquisite stationery that perfectly matched the gorgeous florals of the cake. The striking bridesmaid dress paired beautifully with the bridal gown for a cohesive, luxuriously vintage vibe.
