This historically significant Italianate Mansion offers an exquisite and historic location for your most special celebration. Built-in 1856, the Maxwell Mansion was the first mansion built in Lake Geneva and has long been host to dignitaries and socialites over its history and is now available for your historic event.

We host events such as weddings, corporate retreats, milestone celebrations, private mixology classes, and more.

Comfortably accommodating up to 100 guests (as weather permits) throughout the mansion for receptions of all styles and magnitudes. The entire first floor of the mansion and perennial gardens with croquet lawn and fountain is designed to have your guests travel back in time to true Gilded Age Living. The Ballroom can seat up to 40 people comfortably for an intimate sit-down dinner.

Upon entering the double doors guests are welcomed into an intimate foyer with chandeliers, a fire-lit receiving room is off to one side, and crystal laden ballroom to the other. The 1880’s Apothecary Bar is adjoined by outdoor cabanas and a wraparound deck leading to the front gardens. There is also an intimate lounge and marble breezeway connecting all the unique spaces.
