Event Wrap Up – The Big Fake Wedding Chicago 2019

Instead of attending a typical wedding show, engaged couples were guests at the Big Fake Wedding hosted at Company 251, where they enjoyed all the trimmings of a real wedding and got a chance to see Chicagoland’s top wedding vendors in action. All photos by Bozena Voytko Photography.

It’s one thing to talk to a vendor at a wedding show or see examples of their work, but it’s an entirely different experience to see a vendor’s product or service in action. Guests at The Big Fake Wedding Chicago 2019 were able to see bridal hair and makeup styles, bridesmaid and groomsmen attire, floral centerpieces, reception décor and more at the fun, interactive event. This year’s vow renewal and fun wedding show alternative featured “dark and stormy” inspiration, with vendors drawing on a mid-century modern vibe. The event had a delightful shadowy mystique with a hip bride and stunning décor.
