Chicago Style Weddings x Wedicity 2024 Issue Release Party at Radisson Blu Aqua

Setting the Scene

Our celebration wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliant planning of Tionna M. Van Gundy, Kristina Flens and Giovanna Danno from Wedicity. This exceptional team crafted a truly special vision for the event, curating sponsorships that showcased some of the city’s finest vendors.

With impeccable event design by Wedicity, the remarkable floral displays by Ashland Addison transformed the venue into a captivating summer garden. Chic rentals and linens from Marquee Event Rentals and Nüage Designs provided a variety of seating and celebration settings, creating many photo-worthy moments. MYDRAP ensured everything stayed tidy with custom napkins featuring our event logo, designed by Amore Creative.

Guests were welcomed into the venue, greeted by signage and nametags designed by Amore Creative, along with bookshelves from Nuage Designs filled with Chicago Style Weddings-branded goodie bags and Wedicity-branded Turkish towels. Goodie bags featured special keepsakes, including a cooking spice blend from CMB Catering, exclusive deals to visit Legendary Spa, Campari paper fans, Champagne stoppers from LOVELUVV and 3D printed chocolates from 3D Confectionary, to name a few!

How Entertaining

H.Y.P.E Productions set the soundtrack for the night, with DJ Chris England, MC Vega and the band New Groove joining forces to create the ultimate entertainment dream team. Luxe Productions and Encore Global ensured everything looked and sounded its best with their top-notch lighting and AV services.

But guest entertainment didn’t stop there! Guests were treated to a special dance performance by Windy City Wedding Dance. H.Y.P.E Productions’ photo booth captured smiling faces all evening long against a floral photo booth backdrop designed by Ashland Addison. Nearby, Haikuists offered live typewritten poetry, and Love Linked x Winifred Grace showcased their permanent jewelry offerings.

Bon Appetit

Amidst the lively atmosphere, guests clinked glasses and savored delectable delights from some of the finest caterers. Northern Fork Catering & Events, Catered by Design, Jewell Events Catering and Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago wowed us with their culinary creations. Campari hosted an Aperol Spritz bar, and LOVELUVV provided delicious Champagne. And to satisfy our sweet cravings, ECBG Cake Studio, Bittersweet Pastry Shop, Vanille Patisserie and Gateau Groovy served hand-held desserts and showcased their wedding cake artistry.

Our Chicago Style Weddings and the Wedicity teams wanted to look and feel our best, so we enlisted the help of The Bridal Beauty Team and Jojo’s Hair Studio. The Bridal Beauty Team did the makeup for the teams, while The Bridal Beauty Team and Jojo’s Hair Studio divided hair artistry duties. We were ready to shine as we revealed our new issue to the world!

Throughout the evening, the photography team at  Aspen Avenue captured the smiles and laughter that filled the air – which you can peruse below. Social Brides Collective was also capturing the evening, but as our social media content creator (Check out her work on our Instagram, @chicagostyleweddings).
