A Study in Blooms by The Gilded Aisle Weddings
The Gilded Aisle Weddings led their team in creating a romantic setting evocative of a stroll through Paris in the springtime. Achieving an elegant display in pastel shades, Winterlyn Photography captured the creations of ECBG Cake Studio, From Ashley Calligraphy, The Gilded Aisle Weddings, Hedonia Flowers and Nuage Designs in The Study at University of Chicago.
For inspiration, the team turned to the cherry blossom motifs on the feature wall of The Study at University of Chicago’s ballroom. They curated their shoot vision from there, executing a showcase that transports viewers to the tree-lined Trocadéro in Paris. Playing off the city’s quintessential charm, they furthered the romantic visions with a spring foliage color palette, especially highlighted by ballet slipper pink, French vanilla and tea green.
Complete with a flower market seating chart and loose, lush floral cascades, every shot is a harmonious blend of nature and urban elegance. This Designers’ Challenge setting feels timeless as if you’ve stepped into a storybook version of Paris where love is always in the air.
We wanted to transport guests to Paris in the springtime — when the city is surrounded by the beauty of cherry blossoms.
