Local Love – Becky & Zach at Venuti’s Banquets & Ristorante
Planning your dream wedding is no easy feat, but Becky and Zach really embodied their favorite phrase “teamwork makes the dream work” to pull off their perfect Big Day. The couple couldn’t wait to get married. As Becky said, “When you’ve found your soulmate that’s also your best friend, you want nothing more than to make it forever.”
Becky and Zach got ready separately with their bridesmaids and groomsmen before meeting for a first look. The couple attended their high school prom together and throughout the years friends had exclaimed that their prom photo looked just like a wedding photo. They made sure to recreate their “prom pose” on their actual wedding day.
Becky’s father passed away when she was younger, but her dad was included in the ceremony in several ways. Becky’s mom walked her down the aisle wearing a necklace made with the diamond from her wedding ring. When it was time for Becky and Zach to exchange rings, Becky slipped her late father’s wedding ring on her new husband’s finger. “To put my father’s ring on my husband was beyond words for me but truly a moment we will never forget,” Becky said. After they officially tied the knot, Becky and Zach joined guests for a reception to celebrate their comittment.
They used a color palette of blue, silver and white to bring their winter wonderland reception to life. Frosted, sparkling pine cones and flickering candle light lent a magical air to the space while glittering white trees and crystal icicles completed the elegant, wintery theme. Zach’s grandmother made a personalized album featuring their engagement and wedding festivities photos that they displayed alongside a hand-carved “wedding wishes” box for guests to leave their wishes for the newlyweds. Becky and Zach loved spending their evening with their closest friends and family. Becky especially treasured a dance she shared with her ninety-eight-year-old grandfather alongside their other traditional dances. The night was nothing short of perfect. “We were overwhelmed with joy from all the love and support we received,” Becky shared.
