Kayla & Dan
Winter Wonderland
The couple wanted to create a warm, cozy cabin vibe for their January wedding. With lush greenery and accents of natural white florals, all they needed was a blanket of snow to complete their vision. Kayla was so excited she could barely sleep when she heard the snowplows throughout the night. When morning arrived, there was a perfect dusting of snow on the ground for a picturesque winter wedding.
The Dream Dress
Kayla, the sales manager at The Crystal Bride, wanted a dress that was simple with unique touches of lace, so she had a friend sketch her dream dress. Starting with a Maggie Sottero gown, Kayla’s seamstress went to work, adding lace details and creating a detachable train that she wore as she walked down the aisle. That same piece transformed into a cape that was perfect for outdoor photos and cocktail hour!
Sentimental First Look
The couple included many significant details throughout their Big Day. Kayla and Dan chose to do a first look outside in the freshly fallen snow in Geneva. The town made an ideal backdrop as they have many memories there, including their first date and engagement. The couple has a daily ritual of having Kayla check over Dan’s suit before he walks out the door, and they were able to incorporate their usual morning routine into their first look.
