Chicago, IL
This Gatsby-inspired wedding has just the right amount vintage details. Paired with classy attire, a beautiful venue and vintage accessories (from the bride’s grandmother!), it’s the perfect pairing of old and new!
Advice from the couple:
“Enjoy the planning process and know that things are going to come up along the way—since you are planning for such a huge event—and to just stay calm. A solution will come up. Don’t put too much on your plate. Really hone in on the aspects that are most important you as a couple. There is no right or wrong answer —everyone’s wedding should be unique to them, and with that, you can’t go wrong!”

“Our favorite part of the day was the cocktail hour – we had just finished the ceremony and cocktail hour was in the grand staircase. It was dusk and the lighting was just magical with the glass ceiling. It was like ‘Night at the Museum’ of being at one of our favorite places with all of our favorite people having a party!” -Nadine
“Our wedding was a mix of old & new. The Art Institute lent itself to the classical architecture and art deco style of the room, mixed with more modern flowers. I was inspired by Great Gatsby with a contemporary twist.” -Nadine
