Ethereal Early Fall Wedding At Dunaway Gardens
Ansley and JB’s Ethereal Early Fall Wedding was simply magical! Their historic outdoor Georgia wedding venue, Dunaway Gardens, was once a theatrical training ground for stage performances. Today, it provides the perfect outdoor oasis for couples to be wed and it was only natural that the couple be serenaded by Luna Strings for their ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd to say “I do” on a lovely September day with the weather providing hints of the start of fall – a cool, crisp day and the leaves just starting to change and fall. The elegant woodland theme was evident throughout through their color choices, decor, and even favors. What better way to remember this beautiful fall wedding than with handmade pinecone Christmas ornaments as favors. So cute!
Another theme was consistent throughout the day – southern hospitality! You could tell Ansley and JB wanted their guests to feel comfortable and welcome. From the mini champagne bottles on each ceremony chair to the kids table complete with arts and crafts and the multiple cake options from Tulla White Cuisine and Catering, guest experience was important to this sweet couple and they absolutely nailed it!
Other favorite details included the groom and groomsmen’s suits in a vibrant blue hue that was the perfect compliment to the neutral bridesmaids dresses and deeper red and purple tones used throughout the florals designed by Ross Harper and Jimmy Mitchum. Norris Dates and Power Surge kept the dance floor packed until their send off, as guests waived red and black pompoms (Go Dawgs!) for the groom and blue and orange pompoms for the bride. .
