Picture Fun
When Brooke and Jared planned their day, they didn’t think picture perfect, but picture fun. Their photographer, Jeremy Lawson, photographed the bridal party not just looking pretty, but actually having fun. Before the ceremony the group, via chartered bus, went to Cold Stone Creamery in Oak Park where they enjoyed ice cream, visited a soccer field, did the wave in the bleachers and stopped by Dominican University where they even took some traditional photos in front of the ivy-covered buildings. After the ceremony and before the reception, the group did a quick run to the local Kiddieland, where management gave the group 25 minutes to board as many rides as they could. | | Chicago Resources

RECEPTION
Esplanade Lakes by Doubletree, Downers Grove, with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto a pond that is adjacent to the gorgeous Morton Arboretum. The spot was not only beautiful, but could comfortably accommodate their 320 guests.
CATERING
Doubletree provided a traditional choice of either Filet Mingnon or Seared Seabass for dinner, as well as late night snacks of hamburgers and pizza.

The couple made a donation in each guest’s name to Friends of the Orphans/Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, an orphanage in central Mexico where both Brooke and Jared volunteered for one year after graduating from college.
